antialiasing or rendering double the size and rescaling it might help a bit, but the textureresolution just doesn't fit the detail you want to show, try simpler patterns or tile more as eric suggested
Good thinking Eric. Having a look at the wiki for the first time, wish I had seen it before. I go with #1 for the most part but I never rig anything so.....
The kid in blue parka's very convincing Eric, cool :) The puddle one's a nice subject for this kind of thing too. Any idea how to mimic this setup in 3D? *goes off to research*
Hey All, I just finished a roughish first version of my demo reel. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time. :) http://myweb.csuchico.edu/~ekeenan/demoreel.html -Eric
Current Progress I am using this concept by Eric Spray For a SciFi environment in UDK. I'm not going to follow it exactly, but will try to stay pretty close. Here is the blockout. Starting the modeling! C&C always begged for!
Thanks everyone! I'm not familiar with the trim sheets but it seems to be the solution I'm looking for! I'm gonna make more research on Trim Sheets! The links Eric posted are very helpful!
@Eric Chadwick Thank you for the welcome! And thank you for sending me that link to the america train. I'll make sure to do a search for trains and see what comes up!
As @Eric advised, OpensubD has options to alleviate smooth UVs, but it won't entirely fix it. You can also add in extra support loops to try and 'contain' some of the stretching.
You can use the Copy and Paste Time from the Dope Sheet. But the Motion Mixer, like Eric mentioned, will be better if you have many animations. https://youtu.be/ypPBoSCY3BY
Yes! That was my first attemp with static lighting xD. After play around a lot with lighting and post process actually looks like this. Thanks for the feedback Eric! ^^ Any advice?
