Wow this turned into a PC V CONSOLE argument quickly. I honestly don't question the status quo here. Clearly the PC crowd is the reason why AMD, Nvidia and intel are still developing on the speed they do and atleast NVIDIA is having good numbers and a huge reason is PC Gaming. Hmm. i didn't think about lerping a gloss map. Right now i have a mask texture with each channel (RGB, no alpha) being a different "material". And yes, Just lerping different constants.
