I also think that an environment with simple geometry will give everyone the time to experiment with some other things like shaders or texture management. Maybe some people would like to find out how to animate those "curtains" (maybe even let them react to a character) or something else they wouldn't have the time for… -

This is an awesome idea. I'd say loose the tail since Hellboy's head and hand really make it obvious that he's in it and the tail just looks odd. Also now the only elements of Wolverine in it are the claws (which looked a lot better when they were smaller IMO) and the dog tags. I'd definitely give him logan's hairstyle to… -

You probably have two problems... 1) The verts in the center of the string are weighted to the bone at the end of the limbIK, which is rotating, so it twists the string. 2) The verts on the end of the string don't point toward the string bone, so they skew rather than rotate.
