Just incase you intend to read this thread further nath i have some advice. It seems that you've completely changed the character your going to do from a jester to and old man. That confuses people when criting your work. You havnt provided us with any reference, concepts or anything for this 'new' old man, so how are we…
Hey Southpaw, this is looking really nice, there is a really cute stylization about it all that I'm really enjoying! The problem with the large leafs, as cool as they look, is that they bring a lot of attention to the flatness of the alpha planes. The benefit of having smaller leafs is that the surface becomes more…

Been so long since I've posted a real personal project on here I almost forgot where the new thread button was. Inspired by hazardous' totally radical class, I'm challenging myself to build a sexy stylized female character. I've been doing some realistic women for work lately, and wanted to see if I've learned enough from…
[...] if my character doesn't look good, who would want to buy it? [...] after 14 years of using Blender Well, one could spend 100 years using Blender knowing it fully inside out yet still be unable to make anything visually pleasing with it. Hey dude, I like what you're going for here. It looks like you're trying to push the stylization of her curves past where the concept takes it, which I'm totally on board with. When dealing with stylized female anatomy, there's a pretty fine line between successful and ridiculous. I'd recommend checking out Neox's Chris…

With that in mind, here are a few tips : - Maybe ask a moderator to rename this thread for you. Even though you attempted to clarify it a few times, any new reader coming across…
Hey! Its always awesome to get out of your comfort zone, I'm the opposite where I've tried environments in the past but never finished them! So, Crit. Your model at the minute it really clean, which is super lovely. However, you're Anatomy needs a lot of work. I would go back and start from the inside out. By this I mean,…
hey! i make stylized low poly models in blender. i prefer the 2d look so i tend to use unshaded materials with pixel textures and line art without anti-aliasing. for extra effect i also pixelate the render in the composting nodes in blender! i’ve done work for vtubers, vrchat models, video game models and character models…
Thanks a lot for your feedback! hehe I did try to make it semi stylized, kinda like Overwatch, which is one of my favourit styles. But you are right, it doesn't look metallic. I need to look at more references from artists that have achieved the metallic look on stylized assets. You achieved pretty well in my opinion.
