Looks great! Only crit I have is the characters have a surprised expression as their default pose. The bottom of the upper eyelid is above the iris and the eyebrows are raised most of the time. A more relaxed expression would be more appropriate. Great work though, it's looking like a winner already.
Didn't we cover this in-depth in your other thread? I take it you used the R>F Headus trick I mentioned in that thread? Remember, if you try and stray too far from the natural relaxed shell, by forcing rectilinear, then you will encounter distortion.
If only there was some place one could learn...gather information...search for meaning...alas the great Ichi Tangent died hundreds of years ago...and the secret of the normal map formula died with him... Just relax man...start simple...make mistakes..learn...read..search
Haha yeah lets just make a relaxation room :pensive: spec wise I already have everything I could need and I'm not really into those disco pc boxes, but If I could get the computers leds to work with the rest of the rooms lighting then that would be cool :)
just uv2 ( top down relaxed UV ) baked from the first .(cylindrical projection). and clean up the seam you can use both uv to create cloud fly mask variation .. in material editor wink wink :p keep the original uv for other variation and
Good call, that explains why models are jacked up with Isoline on :\ I only use TS during modeling (performance). I use Meshsmooth before exporting (classic output) and adjust relax function to tighten the model to high rez. You got a link to your script?
I grew up with Max and it'd have no problem creating clean straight UV's, the relax tool was great for that too, but I can't figure out how to do it quickly in Maya. This is what I'm getting and don't want: http://prntscr.com/9021w2 Help as soon as possible would be great as I'm on a strict deadline. Thanks! <3
It's very important especially for detailing and sculpting with precision. The workflow is also more relaxed in my opinion like when you make ornaments. Nowadays thankfully Wacom is not the only brand on the market anymore, there are many companies like huion that offers great quality tablet at a reasonable price.
Been at Oculus for almost 2 weeks now... It is the best job I have every had. The coolest people in the most relaxed friendly environment. We are looking for super experienced artists and engineers across the board. PM me if you are interested in Oculus, and specifically, virtual reality. :)
Thanks for all the input, It relaxes me a bit. I do have a portfolio but I dont have one online unfiortunately but I will be adding, and have new art to add to my sketchbook rugularly. How would I go about pitching one of my ideas?
