As practice I tried to make a hammer 422 tris 512 diffuse,normal,spec power I'm aware my scale is off and the specular map isn't the greatest. C&C welcome though.
If you look at the localmaps that came with doom3, they pack a silly amount of data into the texturespace- this model is 422 tris, with a 512x256 texture (it's squished into 0-1 in the uv view here)
Amusingly enough, thanks to GM, practical math such as 7 is greater than 6.2 no longer is true. ;) As far as whether the engine is available, That would be a very amusing lock-out.

Any fixed capacity brings out strong insecurities I'm sure a poll about height would see all votes at >6'2" or <4'5" with half the responses denying the science of measurement
Started on background - trying to make the car under 500 tris (Currently 514 with wheels, and I still need to model the big vents at the back. ) McFly is 672 tri currently.
yeah, all seeing eye reports at least 620 active servers for me, so it's not totally wiped out btw, i play as CHEP, as that's really short and less obnoxious
