These are 4 out of 7 characters of a seven deadly sins project I made this year :D Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag - Sloth - // renders //thumbnails and sculpt - Envy - // renders //thumbnails and sculpt // mask and snake curve brush - Gluttony - // renders //thumbnails and sculpt - Greed - // renders…
Stone Wall A small project I made to chill out, I was very inspired by the incredible work of Vincent Dérozier on AC Odyssey, especially with the Mycenaean Collection. It gave me the envy to produce more stone surfaces ! 100 % Substance Designer, rendered in Toolbag. Artstation post…
does anyone know of an artists' guide to the more mechanical aspects of design? For instance the types of bolts, fasteners, screws, pipes etc typically used for different applications? Lately this has been on my mind, yet I don't think such a thing exists. I really envy those with an industrial design education.
Very inspiring piece! I envy your stylized texturing skills :) A note for you modularity, you could possibly break the stairs in half and add more definition to their models. This method depends on the engine, but adds more detail without a hit to the memory. Also, you can use it for smaller staircase situations too!
Good god I envy that low of debt ;) When I move into my new place next month I was thinking about hooking up my PC to my 50" SXRD set to see what it looked like. Got to make sure to keep my monitor nearby to check for consistency issues.
@melviso How do you find the fps performance in EEVEE? I've heard it chugs quite a bit on heavy scenes, but I suppose it's still in beta. When Nitrous viewport was introduced into Max it took quite a while to get it sorted. Now it looks like EEVEE is going to be the envy of all the other 3D programs.
Hey awesome 3D models i envy you. I was just wondering with your 3D models how did you make the meshes double sided. For example if i made a plane in 3Ds max the other side would be invisible. How did you make your meshes visible on both sides. ?
reset != iteration. Either the article or their spokesperson messed things up. But I envy them - sometimes there's projects which you love but where you really think that just starting with a clean slate, doing it in a better way would be so much more awesome. Great for them that they are in this position. Good that nobody…
Awww, I love Bonsai trees!! Your Bonsai trees give me Bonsai tree envy so I must show off mine. :p These ones are from the greenhouses in the Botanical Gardens in Montreal. :) Sorry, I don't suppose they're crazy hi-rez and therefore probably not useful... but they wanted to be shared, too!
Nice start... The Shadow is low, especially inside the book shelf. U can add a plane outside the window and kind off add a envi or building texture so that it kind of gives a realistic feel.. Maybe u can introduce a little bit of glossiness to some objects like the door knob or kitchen slab if u interested....
