For a 007 style sequence I would simply render 3d models out as silhouettes. Other shapes can be done using Masks in AE. They may well have done their silhouettes with hand drawn rotoscoping, but that is a major investment of time compared to the above.
Seems fixed in 2009 x64. Unfortunately they killed driver driven antialiasing and the 64 bit version seems a bit slower (multiple MR sample spheres in the mat ed for example). What you lose on the swings you gain on the roundabouts I guess.
I like sculptris :) the performance is pretty good for me, this head is about 500 000 triangles pulled straight out the default sphere and doesnt feel slow at all, just been using this piece to try all the features and Im quite impressed.
I was introduced to it back in 2009 for a freelance gig. Ended up jumping ship from console games to browser games after I was offered a job doing browser games. And like everyone else, I'm making my own games at home with it.
Nice! There's something strange about her lips though. they kinda look like lips of little kids and infants. even if it's intentional i think it went too far. maybe this can help: http://www.stanprokopenko.com/blog/2009/07/draw-lips/
ASK YOUR CONGRESSMAN TO SPONSOR SUPPORT Internet Freedom act of 2009 http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-3458 (Otherwise the Net will be a very closed off and business only oriented affair where communication will be tier down versus across)
I'm pretty sure Bill Compton was seen playing Wii Golf in season 1. [edit] I just googled "Bill Compton playing Wii Golf" and found the clip http://truebloodguide.com/2009/03/04/bill-playing-the-wii/ [/edit]
really breakthlocke? anyways... Keep at it napkin. btw, there is no such thing as a 2008 Camaro. There where no model years 2003-2009. Your ref is made up of concepts, aftermarket kits, and the 2010 production model, so just make sure it all matches up.
hmmm sounds like you might have a corrupt file. I've had this happen to me before, lost half a days work, that was in Mud 2009. I think some of the service packs were meant to address this. Haven't had it since in 2010.
Lots of sites out there trying to explain them, I found these to be among the better ones... From an artist's perspective: http://www.myinkblog.com/2009/07/14/an-explanation-of-photoshop-blend-modes/ From a coder's perspective: http://www.nathanm.com/photoshop-blending-math/
