[SOLVED] Maya export causing poly counts to double, triple, and even quadruple. Help please.
SOLVED It was actually a bug, tested export again with all settings and the problem has just disappeared. I am awesome I guess LOL I keed. Christ. I really fucking hate myslef right now. I found the problem. I am sorry for wasting a thread. Tried exporting again with the problem child settings and problems disappeared now.… -

Right, and that's what I'm saying. There are cultures that think proportions like the doll are sexy, others don't. The same goes with 'full figured women'. There are plenty of cultures out there (mine included, Mexican) that love curvy women and view skinny women as unsexual. (Not me mind you. I prefer thin to overweight.)… -

I've tried my best to keep the proportions and silhouette as close as possible, but if you compare the concept with the 3d model you can see a lot of mistakes, like the distance and scale… -

I really dig the cat hat and the ponytails. Whenever you are modeling/sculpting a character, try to get as much reference as you can from as many angles as you can. A good anatomical understanding is the key to good character model. Also take advantage of the polycount wiki topology section. It will definitely help you… -
