To make it more interesting, learn about lighting. Put the model into a context, help it tell a narrative. It's difficult to understand what scale this item is. The ring looks like a boat's life preserver, but the strap it's hanging from looks like necklace sized. The texturing on the ring part is difficult to understand.… -

I tried baking with my low poly and worked perfect :smile: but now im running into a issue where my height map is ignoring masks, for example: the entire crate is wood except for the hinges, but when i try to put a different texture on the hinges by masking off the wood fill layer, the height map still stays on them :/ -

Looks good! I would probably try not to use absolute 0,0,0 black just to keep the values of the texture from blowing out. :) if you add a browny tinged tile and greeny tinged tile (just slightly) it could add a bit more variety. Have a play around with adding colours like the others have mentioned :D -

It's cheaper to have 2 small screens and a bunch of plastic. I think people are missing the point of this. It's for little kids, to offer a cheap option. This is really otherworldly, man. Great character design and awesome materials and colors! If I had one crit it would be the wings look like thick plastic, from a toy. I think you'd really sell the character with some more work on those wings, adding more cells/veins, and trying to make them look thinner and less plasticky. -

Why do the singers get paid the same amount as a guitarist? Guitarists are the musicians! They're the ones that spent years learning the skills to play guitar! They do all the work! This movie was nuts. It took me a while to warm up to the singing because there was so much going on while the singing was happening, from environment noise fine tuned to roll with the melodies to the vivid stories that where being told through the music, movements, acting, it was all happening at the same time! Great… -
Unreleased LOTR video game pitch by Travellers Tales.
Game was meant to be a tie into the hobbit movies, but the pitch was based on Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Rings. The interesting part is that the graphics seem way ahead of their time (game was for xbox 360) not to mention the cinematic quality. And did I mention it cost the studio 1 million $ to make it?…
