After trying to reinstall the nvidia drivers multiple times and using different "driver cleaner" software I simply tried ripping out the new card and putting back my old card. dunno how the line art shader works, but a guess is that it is reading the normals, and export from UE won't include shading information, so all the edges are hard. if you unlock the normals and smooth them by angle that may solve the issue. -

Can you post one of the input photographs? If you're using a cell phone to take photos, most likely there is heavy noise reduction, sharpening, and potentially other post-effects applied to the image.
