I bet you don't have tried the VIVE yet. The Lab, Dota 2 - VR mode, rec room, Raw Data and many more shows that VR Have found a place in entertainment today, and the place is just growing.
Lil update A study I did not long ago. The lighting conditions changed rapidly so I cut it short. Bloodseeker portrait and concepts for a set I'll be returning to at some point.. A collection of sword concepts for Dota's Legion Commander.

in dota many heros use different or individuell shadersettings. getting a different result when uploading one item to 2 different heros can totaly result into what u just found.
yay low poly bracer. I think i got a little more the dota style on this. I'll probably tweak the color again tomorrow, not satisfied. Maybe make the inlay bit glowy.
Practicing some larger rock formations.. some kind of dota themed jungle shrine. I found using hPolish with inbed set to 0 and alpha 28 gives some nice results

Hi, I am new to 3d and was wondering what tools are you using in order to make simple high poly to low poly transitions. In other words, how do you go from hd model to low poly one that is as simple as a dota 2 item.
It's not your first time doing sub-d, I remember seeing some of your DOTA work..! >_> Looks good though! But yeah, the rear sight is tricky on this one. I'm not sure I can see how it should work either.
