Hello guys! Here's my ZBrush sculpt of Viktor from Arcane. It was my first time using ZBrush and I had sooo much fun doing this sculpt! Please feel free to leave any feedback or tips! :)
Thank you for the post. I've had scenes on my mind for a long time but I prioritized getting greater at props for the time being before jumping the gun too soon to environments. I do have some ideas, yet are no matching prototypes / concept arts I found to to this date that replicate them, I only have the scene vision "in…
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I haven't had much time to work on her in the last couple days but will definitely have some more progress soon. @ kosh_fotsirk: Thanks man, she'll definitely have armor plates over top. Maybe not the same exact once that are in the concept however. @ TeriyakiStyle: I see what you mean.…
Thanks for all of the feedback. I hoped I would have had more of an update this morning, but spent most of the morning fighting memory crashes while trying to bake out the column. I ended up using xnormal instead of max, but I am not sure I am happy with the result. I may decimate the hipoly more in zbrush, then try again…
@DougClayton4231 - In some cases yes, but in most cases, no, we're not generating lights directly from the emissive. Our level lighting artists, Christopher Albeluhn actually found it to be more efficient to place the lights manually per object, then have them generate the lights from the emissive. @Rhoutermans - Mandatory…
Thanks Chris! I hope you enjoy them! I am not sure it works in maya 2015 as I developed them in maya 2016.5, but maybe they do. I would like to know if they actualyl work in 2015 as well, so please tell me if it works for you!. The gumroad link is on the first post. Thanks Justo! I want to make switching from max to maya,…
Well straight out of high school I was referred to a local graphic design job by my art teacher and I've been here ever since doing 2d work. I also submitted my portfolio for another full time job and said "if this job is still available ill send my resume" they told me to call back as soon as possible and said if I want…
Thanks. Yeah I had issues with the dark cavities in the bricks, I tried to pull the values up but obviously not enough. And definitely I'll be adding some color variation soon. The spec on the wood was mostly an experiment to fix some black artifacts I was getting when there was more detail and contrast in the texture. As…
This cutscene right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjJNvjAKjJI My first system was a NES and I mainly stuck to platformers. But I got a playstation for chirstmas and rented Final Fantasy 8. I lived on a tiny farm in the middle of nowhere so it was very easy to myself getting severely entranced by the setting and…
@SirCalalot - Typical typing mistake where you're thinking one thing and typing another :D Thanks! @Amber/Ev/David - Thanks guys, I kind of knew straight away LUT2 was working best, just needed 3rd eye's opinion :) I also prefer LUT2, the video I linked showing the water is actually already the LUT2 so I guess from a start…
