Fantastic stuff. Theres a lot of handdrawn stuff doing the rounds but this one really stands out.. the touches of snow on the top, that they are modeled out, makes a huge difference. The tone of colors really works well for me, I like that the place has a logo with character and its optimized without looking cheap,…
Nice character design and well executed, my only comment would be it seems to be lacking small details. Things like model numbers, bar-codes and company logos. Even something as simple as a security window is sold by having that small sticker in the bottom corner. Its those details that its currently lacking in my opinion.
Illustrator is a great program for graphic design work but is not a drawing tool. It uses lines and line-based shapes which are filled and/or stroked. There is a "brush" tool but it works the same way, simply generating a smoothed line along the path you drew. Use Illustrator if you want to make clean, precise logos,…
The model seems very well done, though i have some small issues with the design which can both be fixed by removing the logo. Firstly, I am highly skeptical that Vans has or ever would sell a turtle neck sweater, also, she looks more like a hipster than a skater girl.
Finally got a chance to work on this again! Here is the list of things I did: - Worked on lights and darks; - increased highlights on metal; - dirty wheels, darkened wheels texture in general; - created simple logo for the banner; - added ropes; - other minor changes in materials - increased padding. Please let me know…
Looks good so far! I agree with theStoff with adding some variation. I would also recommend adding a logo or email at the bottom as well as removing the marmoset backgrounds. You can render out a TGA, then place it in photoshop and add a simple gradient or color to the background so you just present your props.
... wow...I switched from 7 to CS2 probably a month ago (now a little credit, I did move during that month...but)and the linking boxes have been gone the whole time? doh... I don't really use the linking much with painting, but I was doing some logo design the other day and noticed their absence.
Hey guys, I'm kinda new to this forum, but thought I'd join as I'd like to up my modelling skills. First, a bit of background on my situation to help you see where I'm coming from: I work as a freelance motion designer, yet I love to model in my spare time. Often my work calls for it but not predominantly. I can use Cinema…
Was not a fan of the MP beta, and I was hesitant, but damn.... Did they kick that back down my throat and then chop me up with the chainsaw... the SP has been phenomenal. That opening elevator ride was probably the most excited I have ever been about a game. The Riff + Shotgun shell eject + DOOM logo. *Mind Blowing*
I tried to force it to upgrade with the wuauctl.exe trick going around (spare laptop) and im getting nothing but errors when its goes to the preparing installation phase. Same thing happens on my surface. Oddly enough all my computers have the windows upgrade logo icon in the corner, yet they refuse to actually... upgrade.
