Lionhead do, but generally they take technicals and you have to apply well in advance (when I left last year, applications were for 2014). You'll have a hard time finding an industry placement as a second year art/design student unless you have a particularly good portfolio.
Here are some methods: http://www.jackcaron.com/techart/2014/11/14/ue4-normal-blending You could also manually blend the textures in your texturing application, but that way, you would loose the resolution of the highly tiled normal. So I'd recommend blending and tiling it inside unreal.
That is a good question, I think he has 2014, but I will have to check; I won't be able to do so for a week however, b/c we won't be back in touch for a week. This is very strange, he did it over screenshare, maybe he cloned to object and didn't realize it.
Luckily Big Ant's Bradman 2014 looks suitably impressive, so I think it'll be forgotten pretty quickly and won't have too much of a real impact on the development scene here beyond 505 and Trickstar. Wonder if Trickstar will change their name again. They must be on to their 5th at this point, right?
My warlock set in game! Set for tournament and it is my first accept. Сongratulate me. :) Thanks Chameleon for help with loading screen and texture of golem! Link to the store page: http://www.dota2.com/store/itemdetails/20770?r=ce There are some fixes. Old set was submitted in august 2014.
Yeah by themselves they're not bad, just the jumping around the screen sometimes, but mostly how adjusting the values with the spinners is so twitchy. Sometimes it jumps to weird values. Or I'm tapping it and all of a sudden it decides to jump 0.4 instead of 0.1. Especially bad with a Wacom, just close to impossible even.
I was talking more about a short 30 second video to accompany a project (placed near the bottom of the images). I was fortunate enough to get a feature in in the Unreal Engine Project Showcase on their live stream back in 2014 and it definitely helped play a role in getting my first position in the industry.

Just a quick Gibson les paul guitar prop I've been working on for my portfolio, a few hours in so far getting the basic shape and parts modeled. So far sitting at 6014 polys. Planning to make this version Hi res, then baking the details onto a lower poly version. Any critique/ advice is welcomed and very much appreciated.…
