Les Paul Guitar Prop

Just a quick Gibson les paul guitar prop I've been working on for my portfolio, a few hours in so far getting the basic shape and parts modeled. So far sitting at 6014 polys. Planning to make this version Hi res, then baking the details onto a lower poly version.
Any critique/ advice is welcomed and very much appreciated. Thanks :)

Also, here is the reference image I have been working from thus far:

Your edge distribution is really bad, there should be even spacing as much as possible between vertices, also try not to have tris, bad for deforming and doesn't smooth well on curved objects, have them in flat spots, but keep in mind they might warp your bevel if they share vertices. Use blin material or any reflective material to check smoothness, the body of the guitar has roundness on its top plane (the bottom big object) it's not flat, I would use lattice from the non linear deformers to shape this but because your edge distribution is so bad it will have smoothing problems, if you want to chat privately on Skype for further clearafication, my name is yaniv106

Thank you for your reply :) yeah I agree that the edge distribution is awful, I'm working on spacing those out evenly like you mentioned. Also have cleaned up the tris on the other objects. The object you mentioned, do you mean the white scratch plate? Yeah after I made it I realised I should've used the lattice to get a more natural looking outward curve. I'm about to redo it using the deformer.

Thank you for taking the time in posting the critique/ advice. It is really appreciated. I'll post the updated pics in a day or two when I have some time to work on it again :)
