I have the war of Art, I read it and it had the exact opposite effect for about a month, Can't explain why, all seems right and logical on how these blocks happen while falling off on a solution to creative blocks. but maybe the effect was a coincidence lol, good chance, but its a good book, good for better understanding… -

I'm not sure, I've always found that if I'm worrying with fundamentals/learning to do one thing right (characters, color and light, perspective) then the creative side takes a hit. (a huge one) but that may be just me. Also taking breaks helps a lot! I find that I'm much more creative after I go to swim, skateboard or gym
