What he said, pen pressure sensitivity is a tool you cant do without when working in raster. I dont think it's fair to give you a solid critique until your antiquated with the tools of the trade as it will significantly change the way you paint. Cheap bamboo tablets are everywhere, I bought my first one used in college. -

What you're doing is just noise over line art, and it doesn't not work. Noise could be applied as a very low opacity layer on top of a woven pattern to break it up a bit, but at this intensity it hurts you. you can find some decent reference of upclose carpet/rug details on this (slow) site:… -
How to create a single flame inside UE4?
In my scene I have a candle and an antique Oil Lamp, both of which are lit by single flames. I want it too look as realistic as possible (moves and flickers and gives off a little light). - I know there are a few ways to go about doing this but I dont exactly know how. Can anyone help? Thanks Kevin. I will definitely add in texture sheets when I do another update on my work. Is there a good way to show off the texture sheets? Any visual examples? I have seen it done in many different ways so I would like to do it in a way efficient and show them off antiquity at the same time. -

Not so sure about that, if its a success they'll make another shooter sequel, if its not a success we wont be seeing an xcom game again for quite some time. Its systemshock -> bioshock all over again. its a fail/fail situation. unless you really like shooters and believe enemy unknown is an antiqued game with no gameplay… -
