Why not just straight up model it? Doesn't sound too hard. Google for "how to model ropes" came up with plenty of search result. http://cgcookie.com/max/2011/07/04/modeling-rope/ [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_B1QVHXbp8"]Maya Tutorial: Creation Wires, Rope - YouTube[/ame]
You could start with a zsphere armature still. This time skinnier, more like the kind of wire armature you'd see on a clay sculpture. Use the insert brushes to insert basic volumes like spheres and cubes, and work that way. Similar to this: http://www.isculptstuff.com/2012/07/new-maquette-sculpting-workflow-in_27.html
Malcolm, the only way to do it appears to be to turn off UAC (User Account Control). There's an overview here: http://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/01/07/windows-7-whats-up-with-the-uac I'm sure it should be possible to set exceptions per shortcut/program, but I haven't found a way yet :(

Hmmm, I didn't touch any options which change the default column width of zBrush (I don't even know if it's possible). Currently my screen resolution is 1680*1050. Screenshot (Not P2, but same resolution) : http://www.froyok.fr/archives/uplo/001/1343412254-ZBrush_2012-07-27_20-02-55.jpg

Here look at the left model- at the bottom of the ribcage and the left, you can see a line that separates the ab muscles from the external oblique. The oblique goes further up to the ribcage and you are missing that. Therefor your silhouette has the shape of an trapeze in this area…
Hello, all! I'm working on the B1 battle droid from Star Wars. I'm still finishing the blocking phase, but I thought this would be a good moment to show it on Polycount. So here's a render of what it looks like at the moment: This is WIP #07 out of another 6 images from the step by step I've been updating on my facebook…
