Hi, I recently finished my first item for Dota, but when I try to import it, the lighting looks odd and the self-illumination dont seem to work. here's pics of it the teal green part of the bow is supposed to self illuminate. so can anyone help?
Hey Polycount, I'm trying to get that sweet DOTA 2 style gradient on some simple assets but for some reason the top and bottom faces aren't displaying the gradient correctly. I was wondering if anyone has experienced something like this before? Thanks in advance!

Foxclover, you are a god among men. This totally worked, and yes I was doing it COMPLETELY wrong. Thank you SO much! I will post a screenshot once I get the axes compiled and into Dota. Yay!
You can try Blender for sculpting, if you want. Not too great or anything, but then again, in DotA, how much details will you want to add? You can even bake AO/Normal, etc. maps in it.
@gir The whole thing with twitch is weird, lots of Dota 2 artists including myself have been streaming there for quite some time without issue. And Anuxi regularly sculpts balls on random creatures, sooooo.... :)
