Tits. What time it is so I can leave. Solving other problems than the one I'm working on. I also usually have a DVD running in a small window so I might be thinking about that (I've just been on a cartoon binge - I just watched Futurama, Family Guy & South Park, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken).
[ QUOTE ] The only problem with transforming into trains is you'd have to find tracks first or else you'd transform and find you were incapable of going anywhere! Still, they look pretty cool [/ QUOTE ] Yeah but in the original Transformers cartoon when he transformed into a semi his trailer always came out of nowhere. I'm…
Careful with refs that aren't photos, hand drawn material has a nasty tendency not to line up from multiple angles. Especially with cartoon characters the best you can do is put the ref where you see it and work free-hand because even if you get a 100% match from one perspective it will look like crap from another one.
I decided to model a troll after watching the movie "The Troll Hunter" or "Trolljegeren" as it is called in Norway. It reminded me of the stories about trolls I was told when I was a little boy and I remembered the sometimes quite funny round bellied trolls from cartoons and also the not so funny trolls from the folk/fairy…
Hey I remember in the half life 2 art book they talked about using a facial expression chart to drive all the poses of the face. Does anybody know where I can find that expression chart or a different one which is good at communicating the emotion of the character. I tried a couple google searches and came up with cartoon…

Early ref and sketches for a PP-Bizon finish. I wanted to emulate the sort of simple graphic finishes that were the staple of the times. I've been looking at a lot of reference, and there are lots of common characteristics to the types of paintjobs you'd see on objects in these movies/comics/cartoons. meanwhile trying to…

Hello hello. I'm looking for a great blueprint site I stumbled across a few months back. I thought I had it bookmarked...thought wrong. This site had a HUGE index of blueprints for cars/trucks/planes/jets/humans/cartoons. I've been google'in it up for about 30 minutes now with no luck. Does anyone know of the site I'm…
Nice big eyes :) The head isnt sitting on the neck properly atm, the neck doesnt come out at the front like that. The ears should be helical forms and it would help if the neck went down showing a bit of the chest. Even with cartoons you stll have to use some anatomy for the character to read as best it can. Keep em…
