first of all: you seem to be using a horribly old version of blender: 2.49 or older. especially if you are preparing a tutorial, download the newest version from the blender homepage. it has a complete changed ui and is much easier to use (besides having a lot of added features). some people even say it is easier to use… -

HI there! I recently purchased Toolbag 2.08 and unfortunately I have an issue with lighting. Whenever i create a new light(omni) it white outs the viewport and the lighting adjustment sliders don't work. I can activate and deactivate the light but it doesn't work as it should(see image). The other lights don't work either… -
