That car picture is distressing to me; it's just a beautifully airbrushed work of art, with giant dots and massive opaque speech bubbles STABBING into it. I hope Darkest of Days lays off the opaque speech bubbles and white circles, at least. Because it would hide the beautiful guns EQ is making, ohoh! -

Nice, its looks pretty awesome, I haven't modeled many characters, but I notice the edge loops on the breasts are pretty different from most models I've seen (they are normally loops of circles), just, I looks like yours would animate better, but is there any other advantage? -

I believe Thermidor is referring to the "extractor" (which I mistakenly called the "ejector" earlier in the thread ). It's a small part that extracts and deflects spent shell casings. I circled it in red below. I'm not sure if the DAK version has an exposed extractor, but the model in the image below has an exposed… -
rendering or lofting curves in maya
I've been trying to learn some max recently but i'm so damn slow in it compared to maya. One thing I like about it though is the fact that I can make a spline and render it into geometry, whereas in maya I have to extrude a circle or cylinder along it. Is there a way to simply turn a NURBS curve into geometry? -
Mudbox 2014 brush not working at small sizes
Im trying to do some detailed painting in Maya but when I use a small brush size I cant seem to get a steady stroke. Instead its more a series of circles. Does anyone know a way to increase the refresh rate for the brush in mudbox? I have stamp spacing unchecked. -

Maya Rigging Bug ?
i am in weightpaint mode, and the red circle is the "Select Influence"-Bone, all other childrens (like elbow, wrist has no weightpaint at all) now when i rotate the shoulder (so the arm goes upwards) ... i get this and i really have no clue why the arm deform like this, actually it shouldnt move at all not? -
