Awesome! Thanks Arookh! The trick was just getting a python library to do all of the NSWIndow stuff. I found one with PyObjC I'll give it a shot this weekend and post back with the update. Really appreciate the code though, very nice of you =)
Celebrity Scorched Earth Fighter Monty Python's Beach Crusade Heavy Godzilla Runner Atomic Rollerball in the Magic Kingdom Sonic's Kart Smuggler wow, this name generator is better than the people who come up with game names these days
Hi, I find the concept of "a PROGRAM generating 3D" to be incredibly awesome, and I would like to learn something about it. Is Python in Blender a good choice to do this? And are there any good books on this subject?? I ask of course, cause it's free :) Thanks for your help.
That's pretty cool. From what I can see, the code looks pretty good (without knowing the language). If this was in Python, then I'd probably be able to give you better feedback.
Hi. If you feel the need to do some custom processing per pixel on a layer in GIMP, you can write a script based on this template: http://pasteall.org/75873/python
@chrisevansart yes naming will come after the Python switch :) i'll need to restructure the tool a LOT with the switch, so it's better to do it now then wait and keep doing MEL updates.
maybe a silly question but since it's 2022 maybe it's better to focus on python? the API is functional now (albeit very poorly documented) and its a few orders of magnitude less mental than maxscript
Bingo. Chibi Zardoz looking ace. Be sure to get a good crotch bulge going in the texture. It should look like a python straining to get out of a tight burlap potato sack.
I'm into Python. I'm also into Haskell. Livescript's syntax reminds of both. I think you might like coding in it. Cannot blame you for wanting to stay away from js.
reminds me of monty python where she is kind of a flute, cause where his fingers are are several holes and he is blowing in to her mouth:) great work so far pior
