Just landed a short term contract with a local studio that I have worked with before. Going to spending the next 3 months making a flash game, should be good for the ole skill set. Not exactly long term or secure but i'll take what I can get these days. :)
Hey, So I just got an art test from a local studio. And I need to create a looping particle effect using SuperSpray in 3dsMax 2010. I've tried everything and I can't see to get it to loop! Could anyone shed some insight here? Thanks!
Hey. Im about to apply for a job as a character artist at a local studio and so have been getting my site/ CD ready. I was just wondering what people thought about the work on it...if I should leave any of the older stuff off etc etc. The site is http://www.fatcap.hostultra.com
looks nice, the protrusion between the Nasal and frontal bone looks totally out of place though. I've never seen anyone with a bony lump between their brows like that... well except a few of the locals in dublin :D
@JacqueChoi I lost a job offer because I posted a reddit post about my anxiety about moving to X city, looking for local information and pros and cons. Right after uni. Not doing that again :/
Whoop whoop, my local gamestop is actually doing a midnight release for this. Very few games get me so antsy that I actually willingly enter a gamestop. I'm probably not gonna sleep much tonight...
I'm here in Atlanta at Cartoon Network. But not planning on attending Dragon-Con. I'd be up for a polycount meetup somewhere! Daven, Didn't know you were at hiRez! Awesome to see people on the forum that turn out to be locals.
Two thoughts: * Assume the game will always be under heavy bloom and down tone the water material to work under those constraints. * Apply some self illumination to the objects to localize the glow. Then tone down the bloom. Cheers!
Problem is i`m moving country so i`m selling my PC locally and will need to buy new again. So thought i`d go for whats currently an up to date decent spec.
