Hello. First - Brilliant tool! I have a questions about margins too. In 'UVLayout' (for example) 8 pixel setting == 16 pixels between the shell edges - 8 per shell ( no intersecting shell bleeds) Here 8 pixel margin == 4 pixels for bleeding per shell Which one is technically correct ? Thank you. -

There is a method, we've been using layers in photoshop, we overlay the specular image on the base color, then in blending options we blend in everything in the metalness range to the base color just by tweaking the little sliders. The Texture Intensity slider has a little O next to it. You can adjust the blend mode for that specific texture pattern from there. Alternatively, this is also done easily through PS as well. Changing via PS or DDO makes no difference in this case as texture blends for patterns are done per channel, not across all texture… -

You need edge padding on everything, otherwise you'll have big problems when mipmapping. Setting it for 4-8 is usually the best (depending on your map size) to make sure you have no bleeding. In addition to solving bleeding it's also just much easier to work with when you don't have everything crammed. -

I've redone the terrain shader. I've done a custom blend mode, that way I can use greyscales of the Detailmap for the Diffuse blend and use the Overall Colormap to color the greyscales or tint them with a parameter and even scale between the tint and the colormap. Aswell I added the posibility to overlay a noise/cloud map… -

the hair is going to be a second mesh. was planning on having an alpha blend at the edge so it blends onto this head, but essentially it would all be snakes lying down, mimicing the form of hair, which then stand up violently when she transforms into the snake-like medusa. and dude... i'm totally loving your work :D :D:D
