@Gikkio Although there is some overlap in the basic art, observation, and problem solving skills required: concepting and subdivision modeling are different disciplines. While it may be possible to learn both at the same time it tends to be easier to focus on mastering each discipline separately. It's generally recommended…
Thanks for responding. The problem is solved))I simply forgot to delete a couple of small pieces in the model(bits, which I was not going to unwrap)On the UV canvas they looked like small tiny lines.
I have this floor material, and the intention is for it to tile horizontally, but not vertically. The edge (the long rectangles at the top) is the end of the floor, but the AO generated from this edge tiles and continues on the bottom of the texture (you can see it has a darker gradient at the bottom). How can I solve…

Maybe a translucent/transparent shader that can't receive shadows or needs some serious dialing in? Either way, it's a major problem that needs solving. There doesn't seem to be much of…
yea if we could get nanite for characters and solve the technical aspects of weightmapping and animating them sure that'd be great, if the average player has the hardware to play games with these features.

Love how it is turning out! How did you sculpt the terrain? It is something that I struggle with quite often. I don't know what approach you are using here, but maybe you could solve the many pieces problem by working with some modularity, as I can see that the concept has many repeating patterns and objects. I would love…
An art test is exactly that; to test if you're a good fit for the position; if your skills meet the requirements of the position, and if you can communicate and problem solve well. If they intend on publishing the results of the art test (particularly if they'll be making money off of it directly or indirectly), that would…
@sprunghunt I actually solved it , if you select the meterial by face , right click and go to 'material attributes' near the bottom of the list, it selects the right material :)
