Nice one DrillerKiller. That orange is a bit painful, but it has a neat grin. First doodle with my rebuilt comp (psu, mobo, and ram replaced... whee). Nice to have things operate smoothly again.
Hey, So I am trying to get my static meshes to show up in the in-game editor. It's not working. I've rebuilt everything, and it looks fine in the editor. But in-game some of them don't show up. Here are some screenshots.
Here's today's update. Made a few changes, rebuilt the filter piece and added alittle texture update. Im still messing with the idea of for the chin thing, but besides that ill decide tomorrow and work on the lowpoly version
DECALmachine 1.4.1 is out, see What's new? for a detailed breakdown of additions and fixes. In short: 2.79 and Principled BSDF support, plus completely rebuilt the Match Material tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTuq0l3Ga4w
I'm calling this project done. I rebuilt it in Maya, textured/created materials in Quixel Suite and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2. First time using Quixel and Toolbag, so this was a crazy learning experience for me.
Another Character for my reel. Currently UV mapped, will be Z-Brushing today. This guy was actually my entry for the 10k Halloween Horror Movie Monster challenge a while ago, but I pretty much rebuilt him The model is currently 9598 triangles. Cheers
Rebuilt the shader inside the UDK version from scratch and it seems to be much more stable so far. Still crashed a few times, but a lot less compared to when I was using the shader that was made in the UT3 version.Bleh

Finally got to get back on this one. rebuilt the rear sight and made some additional changes to a few minor details thanks to a friend who owns the gun. Also got the handle on there and a mag release. On to the low poly!
