LOVE IT! I don't know much about the cartoon shader and what to look for and what not.. but this looks great! Only thing that kinda bugs me I guess though, is her breasts... from the front view they seem to far apart... but thats my opinion, just something that bugs me. Keep up the great work! -

I think you went to fast to add "Stone" detail to it, I would have worked more on the face so it looks more natural, right now it looks like a bad cartoon face, check out some skulls and at least make the proportions correct. apart form that is not bad for your fist Zbrush WIP. -

An interesting concept! I have only made cartoon eyes, but feel like some variant on Ben Mathis' method here would still look okay. Possibly with a darker painted shadow, so long as the geo itself doesn't cast shadows or anything crazy like that. SyncViews, looks cool to me, can't wait to see. -

I also looked at some of my past works and I have two more characters I'll be posting, one is a real life girl I modeled (Just a bust version) and the other is a more detailed cartoon guys face. I'll be posting those two with the addition of my environmental models I'm rendering right now. -

Yeah Im really looking forward to this one just for the graphics alone - it really comes close to looking like a polished cartoon and gets away from the CG, pixel drawn or2.5D look of other titles like this. If they could do a side scrolling mario bros. for the wii in this style I could die a happy man! -

starting to texture
I' m new to texturing and I want to know, what if you don' t want to use real textures? You want to make the art style more like a cartoon or not so real, or maybe something more artistic and unique like those guys did in "Demon' s Throne" and "Squaresoft Town". Do you guys have any good reference source?
