I would highly recommend trying a 256 resolution, you can do a heck of a lot detail wise if you learn how to mirror and reuse uvs, along with straightening uvs to reduce aliasing jaggies. It also helps get very crisp output. The knowledge then scales up rather nicely to higher resolution work. -

I've done some palette work, awhile ago. We used Autodesk Animator Pro, which might be around the web for free, it was a DOS program, so might be difficult getting it to work these days. I already own DDO, but from my user account I don't see any option to buy nDO *only* so that I'd have a full "suite", there seems to be only option to buy full suite, no option to upgrade to add nDO...? Minimum wage in Massachusetts is $11. Times 3 is $33. I have 25 years experience. If the x in 1.x is meant as for single-digit years, then 25 = 2.5. 33 x 2.5 is $82.50. That's pretty steep. But funny enough that's close to my upper end. Looks like I need to be charging more haha. -

25 mil? what I can barely get 300k to import/run properly on similar specs, no idea how it would handle 10 mil let a lone 25 (though I saw some of those epic renders, no idea how they got that in max running well)... maybe something is wrong with my software...hehe -

Hey folks, so iam working on a little sidescroller right now and my task is to build animations in 3d - render them out and put it all in one png. Iam looking for a tool or programm that puts my 25 frame walkcycle animation to one png. (Frame one to 25 - left to right) Its really frustrating to do this all by hand. Thanks. -

From what I gather, one of the benefits of going to school is that it helps you prepare for industry hours. In a week, I typically spend about 35 hours on school, 25 hours at work, and 25 hours on freelance. So it sounds to me like only having one 45 hour a week job to worry about would be nice.
