Quit shortly after TBC but started playing again last week, i have to say that they have done some really big improvements! The questing is alot more fun now and this whole phasing thingy is totally awesome. Really loving the artwork in northrend aswell :)
Interesting looking character. I'm looking forward to seeing how far you take this character. As for description, I would lean towards calling it a quadriped golem. Mostly because its using parts that found in the environment and grafting them together. Fun concept to play with.
Cheers - Yeah I guessthats gonna have to be the plan - I believe that .FBX supports vert colour will save out he mesh in that format and dump some uvs on the mesh and bake the vert colours onto a texture take it back into Z brush for the fun part.
yeh but its not a "serious" project it's for my fun and carving out stuff as it comes along , I have a general idea in mind but I haven't conceptualized all , as sometimes I think when you sculpt or develope something you get new ideas midway ....
Yes it'd still be useful, You can make the same things you do in max with a sculptor, you'll just have to approach it in a totally different way Watch some tutorials, try the demos, see for yourself. The programs are fun to play with and nice to have around
I've been writing maxscripts just for fun lately. If there's a thread with a good idea in it that's within my capabilities, I'll definitely make it. Even this script doesn't seem all that hard really, it's just that the 3D-math stuff goes a little bit over my head.
I have asp.net/sql experience. If you need some volunteers, I may be able to fit in some time in a few weeks. My sites were mostly internal application style sites, but I think it would be fun to try a commercial-ish site.
I loved FF12 and spent at least 50 hours just running around leveling up because the combat was so fun. I haven't been very interested in 13 though. Maybe because it seems like I'll have grandchildren before I play it.
was messing around with dynamesh mesh made this from a sphere. Instead of using zspheres for the hands I started with spheres as well and dynamesh. I know the proportions are all wrong as I didnt use reference moreless a fun exercise. I will refine this with anatomy soon though.
I had a sub for a few months, it was fun for a little while. gets kind of dull if you don't have people to play with though. Also it's pretty much like every other mmo out there, aside from the battle system. Art is pretty nifty though
