yeah, i didnt understand where or why water suddenly appeared on the lens and ran down. If it were static, i think it'd be more believable. The running water down the lens w/o streaking water and bluring / distorting the scene through the water (water trails) make it feel less grounded. I like the idea *of* the water…
Today's progress .. I am fine with the progress, allthough there are always things you would like to do just a bit different. Unfortunately I am s l o w, so I am trying to keep a pace and continue with other parts. I am not too happy with the text since the turbosmooth messes it up, so turbosmooth is off in these shots. I…

This is my first post, I'm happy to be here can't wait to be a member of this community. I've been in a little rut lately no inspiration whatsoever. I finished this painting during the summer and thought I should post it. I just don't know what to paint or anything, my drive has just gone. Here you guys go: I use photoshop…
You're at the place where beginners come to grow. Instead of being so worried about that much comparison, while it is understandable. Post stuff even if you don't feel ready. You can dig back into most of our accounts and find our crappy threads:…

Yeah, you can just use image:mypicture.jpg if u like. If you want a gallery though, of side by side pics, you'll need to use a Table. I think attribution is important, so this is better... frame|Image by [http://ericchadwick.com Eric Chadwick]. You can see all the image code stuff in the Editing Help.…
Model looks fantastic! As for the render, the very exaggerated DOF makes it look tiny. Also, a cool tip for making stuff look more "real" after you render your picture is to slap on some chromatic aberration in photoshop. goto filters>distort>lens correction and pull the slides. Oh and a slight colour correcting helps make…
His lower half looks a little weird to me. Hide his arms and check his lower back down to his thighs. His feet are pretty, pretty long as well. Really like what you did with his hair though. Have fun sculpting his costume. Hope you know what 's the materials. Leathers, cloths, tightsuit or w/e... Hard to tell right now.
Number 4 made me laugh, made me think of a sniper rifle that doubles as brass knuckles. the thought of punching someone w/ a high powered rifle on your fist made me chuckle. I think i would go with # 3 but the butt of the gun seems way to close to the grip... if it is just compact and maybe can pull out that would work…
