http://www.jeuxvideo.com/screenshots/images/00047/00047366_026.htm Here are some screenshots. It doesn't look as good as Edge was suggesting, but it's miles ahead of DaS in the graphic department. In fact, I would rather have current-gen graphics and stable framerate. But holy shit. That fucking chariot. It's like Wheel…
Blender is probably your best bet. You can animate in Unity, which is free, but the animation tools are pretty simple. You still need to create the skeleton though, and set up vertex weights, so Blender or another free software. Also you could take a look at Anim8or http://www.anim8or.com/
I never had much success with getting skeletons or animations out of the decompiler, it always butchered them horribly. I would imagine if someone updated the decompiler it would probably work, but no one is doing that. As for making animation easy, outside of mocap there is very little out there that turns a non-animator…
Yes you did, but i want to know to learn, i mean do i need to know everything, do i first see the anatomy of skeleton and them model it and so on.:D btw i got this books already, my friend got it before, so it saves me from paying.
Heh, there's a scene in Zero Mission where she fades from her combat suit to a bodysuit, you can clearly see her proportions changing... I'm not sure what happens to the muzzleflash but removing the bone won't crash the game or something, people found that out when they turned the skeletons into playable characters.
I always see that book advertised when I look up anything about Zbrush. Good to know it's worth the price. As far as anatomy lessons go Zack Petroc's skeleton and muscles ztool is pricey but worth it. $40 for the most useful anatomy reference you can get without grave-robbing.
[ QUOTE ] I heard soul was a gothic chick, not a "man" [/ QUOTE ]I read that somewhere too... An "asian goth chick" if I remember correctly. Might have been on that model that someone was making to represent him - winged skeleton thing. I was kinda disappointed when I found out he was a bloke. =/
Is there a way to export Wraith King items without using the Skeleton King slot? The tech requirements are different & I'm unable to export a LOD0 because it 'has too many tris' despite being 50 under the WK limit. Obviously can't do it manually because Modo SE doesn't let us do FBX exports. Thanks.
Hey there, for a uni project I;m studying the skeleton, musculature and then the overall form of the arm. Muscles and bones are done just working on the skin now. Could do with some major crit, especially on the hand as I'm struggling to get the forms right. Currently it's only wip getting the major shapes so thats why…
On this screenshot you can see the result of the mirroring legs joints from the left side of the character to the right side. And you can see local axises. After mirroring the primary axis of the joints on the right side is -X. Is this is the correct behaviour? If not then how i can orient them properly by using…
