Hi everyone! I'm excited to join the bi-monthly challenge for the first time! I've wanted to participate for a while, but was a bit shy to take the plunge. Here’s my progress so far — I’m aiming to make the model as accurate to the concept art as possible. It’s hard to say exactly what’s behind the glass, so I took some…
I know I am way too late to give feedback for the progress, but I just wanted to say that it looks really good! I sure as hell wouldn't mind more info or even a tutorial on how your texturing process looks. If there is anything I would like too see added, it's those nice colors from the concept art (especially the mossy…
Hello all. I've been recently starting to draw some concept, and learning how to draw correctly. Anatomy isn't my strongest point, but I'm learning with Rens' help (thanks man). These are my earliest, from around 1-2 months ago. Comments and critics are always welcome. P.S: Sorry if the images are too big. I'll scale them…
Little progress with set dressing, grass texture and post processing. I almost done Decided to leave light realtime because I don't want to save time on uv mapping, and automatic lightmaps doesnt work well here
When I see "next gen" I probably expect better lighting and post processing, and generally something in effects. Since we reached an era where we can scan real life assets and use them for games, we cannot possibly do much more to improve the quality of textures, am I right? So a next gen asset is probably the same as it…
@Baddcog: On my next pass-through I will be sure to make the highlights blend better, thank you. So here is a work in progress shot of my bamboo/hybrid texture for the floor and possibly some of the benches etc. I would like to know if I am in the ballpark. The second column shows some of the detail I will duplicate…
So I met with a terrible fate, and my hard drive that i stored all my files for, for this project got corrupted. But that didn't hold me back. I managed to save the front view line art of this view of diana. As well i'm re drawing the final composition, cause I grew out of it and didn't think it was telling the story well…
OK, here's some progress so far. I maded props, effects/ @thoughcrayfish made lighting/post-process changes. Finally fixed windows, now it looks much better, not like emissive paper :D . I really like how junk worked out. Still gonna work on background buildings and bar props. For tat I will look at example UE4 scenes, if…
UPDATE from the dead! Made VERRRRY slow progress throughout this project due to laziness, etc. Finally finished the majority of it and any other changes will be made via NDO at this point on. Going to start the low-poly process soon and hopefully get a bake before college starts! EDIT: forgot to unhide one piece in the…
