thanks so much for the help guys. this place always helps me out so much. the whole introduction of zbrush has really thrown a wrench in the workflow thingy......just wish there was a really good workflow tut for max to zbrush and back w/texture work done in pshop.... thanks again
Update on my character guys. Almost done with the Hipoly. Still need to do the belt for the ammo, the pockets on the trench, obviously the hands and some other little things here and there... The Gun is also in a WIP stage. Will post some screens soon. Promise!
Hello! Im trying to animate and simulate a character trench, but I need some cartoony simulation, like not too realistic. I tried with ncloth but I cant get Something NOT too realistic. Any advices? Thanks!!
I think the boots could use some more detail, even if you just exaggerate some of the folds. They seem a bit bland and smooth compared to the rest of the character. And maybe add some more detail and bulk to the trim/fold at the bottom of the trench coat to better define it. Looking good so far!
[ QUOTE ] We've got a couple tarps nailed down to our roof to cover holes since we're replacing the whole thing soon; one of the tarps ripped off and flipped over onto the other side of the roof.... it exposed the holes in the roof to the rain and my parent's bed got drenched. [/ QUOTE ] Harsh!
The traditional plague doctor (or at least the image that's become known today) usually wears a cassock or something similarly long and loose. I reckon giving your lady something that's conceptually similar if not necessarily identical - a trench-coat or medieval cape might work.
Just some more refining of the sculpt, going to try get it done by tomorrow and hopefully start the low poly soon. Hair, Shoes, Hands mainly need some refining. then add some extra accessories like a wrench, pockets etc etc
I've thrown together some ideas for the guild tabard, some serious, some not so serious (722KB worth of images): If you have any ideas for the tabard, go ahead and post screenshots of them. Personally I'd want the wrench just to keep things simple, but we could also go for the gnome for the hell of it.
Looking good, love the handpainted textures!! But watch out for the hard surface buddy, your brenches are full of thoses... It really affect negatively the perfs of your projects and give you ugly sharp edges everywhere :) Keep it up, with props it ll be a nice piece!
Looks good , I am about to make too a snow environment but on Cryengine and I have to plan severall snow types , are you planning too different snow textures for terrain? like ice , fresch snow , walked upon snow etc etc?
