Hey man, sorry to say but i think your way off on this one. for one Brent spiner has a big ass nose, you gotta nail that stuff if you want to achieve an acurate likeness. your sculpt also seems to be lacking a skull, check your underlying structure.
Good stuff I like all the movement movement/rhythm of the body and legs but arms are as stiff as they can be would you do me a favor and fix them Also please get a skull , head is not a brick its round , check your own forehead if you dont believe me
This is great so far. Skull is really low poly compared to the rest of the face. I'd lose the tight ring around the lip, unless this is a subdivision basemesh. Eye anatomy needs work. Where's the eyelid? What's your reference? If you're studying human topology, then real-world anatomy is essential.
Made some adjustments to the wrapping, as mentioned! I also gave the skull (pommel) its second pass as well as the blade detail. I'm still pretty new to Zbrush so I'm having somewhat of a hard time trying to get that part as clean looking as possible. Going to keep at it, though.
Pushed this skin hard today, ris rail cover is painted properly, added this emblem/signature of a bounty hunter in the form of a skull on the stock, thinking what I am going to do about those shadows/stripes on the stock. Not sure if I will be able to make more today so posting this. :)
Tonight I did some work on my entry for the Comiccon 2016 Undead Hero/Villains Challenge. I'm working on an Undead Version of Howard the Duck. I spent some time on the skull/head area and trying to figure out the hands which Im currently having a lot of difficulty with
the eyes are around the halfway point of the head. you need to go back through and rework the skull shape. the eyes are also much too big. bring his ears out a little more as well. a lot of people forget about that area behind the ears. Good start, keep going
Thanks for the replies :-) I forgot that when I export with the ZBrush preset in max, it unchecks some settings and that was the culprit :-) Anyways, here is an update of the character and the pet alligator/lizard hybrid she's gonna be riding on. I'm a bit disappointed in the resolution of the skulls, but oh well, maybe…
I think you've managed to create something pretty believable here, good job! The only thing I can really feel is wrong is how thin and wobbly his eyelids are. I also think his nose is a bit too close to the eyes for the skull structure to make sense.
Got a super rough layout here, cones are meant to represent general debris in the area, planning to rip parts of the roof off as well, allowing a nice look at the night outside. I've collected more reference art to use, such as that for Tzompantli, a skull wall which will be pasted in various parts of the environment.
