About me I'm not a company, I don't pretend to be one, nor do I pretend to be exceptionally experienced. What I am however, is a passionate game developer. I'm currently a 23 year old student making my way through University, currently doing my Industrial placement year before resuming my studies next September, and…
Your sci-fi environment is siiick man! Gotta love those dirty lens haha. I'd say your bunker scene isn't nearly as impressive as your Sci Fi scene though. It's mainly the composition which is making it look uninteresting, as opposed to the assets being bad. I'd say the same goes for the alien planet environment as well,…
Final update! Added Earth and some beauty shots to give that sci fi orbit feel. I gotta say I learned a lot from this project! Pretty happy with the result. I rendered some video clips on my artstation account : https://atomicarmy.artstation.com/ Edit: Did Minor adjustments

Ok i have to say one of my biggest pet peeves is when people put down their work in the title of the thread. I'm seeing a lot of "another sci fi.....generic sci fi.....lame sci fi" If it's generic, you probably shouldn't be making it. It's not going to get you pity, and it's not going to get you a job.
Have you noticed the variety in the "picks" section as well? Characters. Sci-fi character, sci-fi robot, sci-fi helmet, sci-fi illustration, sci-fi concept, sci-fi high poly, sci-fi design. Oh look, a sci-fi fire hydrant!
Kind of like what was stated before, I think when people think that there is too much detail in games nowadays they forget that the mindset of the the ambitious game artist who is hungry to create hi-res, detailed models and textures is a whole different world than that of a gamer or designer who primarily likes gameplay.…
I completely agree. There seems to be a lot more Sci-Fi that gets made with the Sci-Fi/Horror story arch in mind. Which is actually horror with some greeble-fied sci-fi props. People mix up the two genres all the time and what's worse is writers create horror, the execs strip out the gore, marketing pedals it as sci-fi…
