Re: My Rig and First Pass Animation
Thanks guys for the feedback :) I have to do between 2 minutes and 5 minutes for my final year project. However, I might keep it at the length it is now. Would much rather have 2 minutes of good animation then 5 minutes of mediocrity. -

Resurrecting this thread a bit.. Trine is on sale on Steam for $5. I had never heard of it before, but I grabbed it because it looked cool. Pretty fun game. It's an interesting mix of Little Big Planet and Lost Vikings. Good stuff, way worth the $5. -

Don't be such a puss! I got 5 root canals last year, and I've had 5 teeth removed this year. The pain was nowhere near as bad as when my lingual nerve got infected. Dear god, that was the worst pain I've ever felt. -

I'm an anti-armrest guy as well but I couldn't imagine sitting on a cheap chair, you must have buns of steel! I purchased a $500 fancy office chair about 5-6 years ago and it's survived about 5 moves. -

Then why gamma correct at all? If you want .5 gamma to be .5 linear then don't gamma correct the image. the reason 50% is becoming 20% is because of the the correction UDK is making. This is why you don't gamma correct normal maps or gloss maps. -

Are there any 5 year old Android devices atm. running Ice Cream Sandvich(or whatever the new codename is)? The only iPhones that wont support iOS 5 is the 1G and 3G, and the iPhone 3G(which I have) is running very old hardware. -

Seems like, based on the feedback I've received here on Polycount and in talking with friends, options 4 and 5 are the most popular. Between the two, I've decided to move forward with #5. I'll continue to post progress on this as I work on it. Thanks again, everyone! -
