Holy shit, I have just realized this is the most fun game I have played in a while. Guess I will put down Mass Effect 2 for a while. edit: 32k so far, and I want more.
I should have mentioned this earlier but i am doing this for a scene fly through / quick pan so doing it in max would probably be the best way unless I want to edit 100-300 or more frames.
UVs are done - I was more tolerant of distortion so I could get the most out of a 64x64 tex. Also managed to scrape off 4 more tris, for a total of 324. I'm pretty satisfied with the texel size.
Vinyl, Scott!? Eek. iPods are worthless to me. I don't need a $300 device to play music, when I can easily carry a $20 CD player, and a few CDs. I mean, it's a nice technology piece, but no.

I just posted a rigging job in the forum here, and from about 20 applicants the average was $300 for job that takes about half a day. I didn't set a price, that's just what people offered.
