muy bien AO influence on the texture could be a lot stronger imo, it feels very lacking and creates a CG feel. the cables on the side for example seem to just be floating there.
Do an image search of classical sculpture, in a new window do an image search of car tuner magazines. What does the majority of Artstation and CG art in general resemble?
Of course there's always the discussion when is digital art/CG going to be considered real and could it ever make it into a contemporary art museum. @Sandbag, no to what? its a lengthy post.
Its just a proof of concept - a bunch of guys running around a studio back lot in Halo-ish armour with some quick CG and a lot of stock footage dropped in.
they are also coming out with a US version of creature comforts.... but yeah its good stuff. i'm actually workin on a CG Aardman cartoon right now here in canada.

Yeah, scriptspot is awesome. Also, if you're really serious about learning, I've been watching the CG Academy Maxscript Fundamentals DVDs. They're very well done.
