entertainment industry usually sees a rise in sales and income during times of recession, look at it this way, if you were a parent with a wife and 2 kids, what's cheaper, going out of town for a weekend or going to see a movie? Vacation or a couple games to keep everyone occupied for a few weeks? Sure there are layoffs…
Element sounds more like a essential part of an entity. Like, an edge is an element of a polgon. Max's vocab is confusing. I like to think of seperate objects just as that. Objects, or sub-objects, created from a mesh. And if you're dealing with how the object interacts with the whole model during animation, that could be…
This is some crazy stuff - tha Alrosa Villa is just a few miles from my old home (parents still live there, etc). It's probably the best pure rock/metal joint in the state It's just so hard to believe - no one gets gunned down like that in Columbus, and certainly not a legend like Darrell. Just unbelievable.

I'm working on rigging a mechanical quadruped using CAT bones. The rear "knee" joints face backwards in relation to the CAT parent. Is there a way to mirror CAT bones from front to back, or distribute them radially around the pelvis at certain intervals? I only know about left/right mirroring with bones. Image of rig in…
I need to combine several curves objects in the outliner to a single Nurbs Curves object. How does one do this? Parenting does not solve my problem. Below is my outliner. It's for a groom asset. I tried using Curves Menu '>' Attach, but it seems to take forever. I have about 90K curves total below. Any suggestions…
It's pretty obvious the third one will be the controller, no? The " O+O " and then this patent: http://www.google.com/patents/US20110105231, their suggestion to stay tuned for more news about a controller... Tbh this is almost the most interesting thing, this could replace the Xbox controller as the standard PC controller.
I remember seeing a couple of years ago a news report on the BBC explaining that in recent years students (and their wealthy parents) were paying companies for work experience at top companies, especially legal firms - but still at a low-level obviously. Seems absolutely mental. I remember at the time Vince Cable wanted to…
I dont. Infact my parents say that I have made a cellar out of my room because I am there all the time doing work when I am awake. Its really hard for me to leave the room and attend gatherings. The only time I get out is when I am going to my crappy odd job.
My first fulltime game art job payed 400$ a month. That was in belarus about 5-6 years ago. I'd say don't look at the money if you can survive somehow(live with parents?). If this job is going to teach you something - go for it! You can always leave in 2 months if you find something better. good luck
