Wow... these are simply awesome. Def crushed that internship and sounds like you learned a lot. Def valuable for any artists and the studio that snatches you up (if you already aren't) Great work again. Really love the little guys and the variants... Would be some cute little vinyl toys for sure :) -

IMHO CryEngine was to complicated for most indie games. I heard something about the engine devs working at cloud imperium now after the crytek crisis when they apparently couldnt even pay most of their staff anymore. Didnt amazon buy the whole thing in the end? But it wont be the same without the devs. -

MS gets their Minecraft money, Mojang guys including Notch get shedloads of Money. Even if they split up they could set up several independent dev studios, publishers and strengthen up European game dev scene. All in all pretty much everyone wins. -

Hey @Maximum-Dev I think it's all dependent on what you're trying to accomplish personally. I usually approach things from a game dev perspective, so I'd use HP > LP workflow. In the case of the hard surface prop, that could easily be converted into a game prop or an enterprise-type study. -

Come to think of it.... Microsoft closed down their sports dev and their fantasy dev teams after the origional xbox had been established. The excuse they used was that they started these projects and teams to give the new console a boost, but now that it was established they were no longer needed. Perhaps MS sees Bungie… -

FLASHBACK TO DEC 29, 2002: Was a big collaboration of me (skin, implementation), Frag Cow (mesh) and MoP (Uvw's). NOW FAST FORWARD TO DEC 29, 2004: New and fresh! All done by myself. Skin is a real rough draft, and it'll be improved soon. All in a night's work of finishing up a model I had on my hd Btw, he's 2040 triangles. -
