I guess most of the stuff there..that was important were the references you know.. gigs of conceptart and shit. and programas and lots of tutorials.. but those i can downloaded later.. My work was safe tho' on another place :)
I thought that I'd bring some of my doodles over here from conceptart to get some crits C: This is a little dragon I pulled out of my head (should have used some ref)
Some of the models are concepted/designed by me, some are a mix (50/50 concepted and just freestyled) and some of them had a bit more detailed concepts. Wouldnt say it goes faster with exact conceptart either tbh :)
Thanks for the rep. Lamont. Heres a higher res. http://www.scumworks.com/otr/conceptart/bow.jpg I realize these things gets easier with practice, just sucks redoing the same piece over and over because you aight satisfied.
well artbook exists, but hard to get I believe, comes with collectors edition they have the digital version on the european site http://allods.gpotato.com/?m=media&a=conceptart seems like it's not full (can't verify, pictures not loading for me)
Start drawing as well if you can. It will really help reading conceptart when you better know what the artist was thinking with his lines. And even if there are areas you don't understand you will be better equipped to fill them in yourself.
I like it. Though what about bi-monthly? Between projects and such, even a month might be pushing it for some. That and I like not making it a competition. More often than not, Conceptart, the winners are the most popular, versus what is the best work.
I completely missed this hello-thread requirement.-I mainly signed up for Quixel-suite support, but who knows. Edit: BTW I've been in the games industry for 8-ish years doing environments, conceptart and marketing-assets.
