7/19 - Retopo. My "Lowpoly" came out to 28,000 tris. I typically see counts around 10,000 for handguns. But my design has more round shapes than typical "Glocks." So I'm not sure where to cut down on the tris. Right now everything is water tight, so I'll do a round of deleting faces and see where the count ends up.

jacob07777 : The last scene from 3:19 to finish is from the game demo, I just tried to seemlesly merge the video capture from the game in my project...the lighting is not even the same, but I knew i could get this jumpscare to happen at this very moment. noscope: Yeah thanks, i did noticed only after you pointed it out XD,…
So I'm trying to figure out how to get animations in UDK, and I have been semi-succesful. I managed to import a skeleton mesh with one animation, and get it to play the animation in the mesh preview. However I ran into a problem when I tried to export animation sets. No matter what I do, the exported animation is always…
Hey all! so I'm making a set of mod tools for a couple of video games as the tools are either non existent or outdated and no longer work on modern systems. I'm starting off with a simple converter for the game's model files that will convert them to Wavefront OBJ and then back again. These are proprietary file formats…
Hi Obviously, this depends on the project/game/scope/requirements etc. but what is a good maximum amount of UV sets for a character to have? I mean, with the Arthur Morgan model I have from RDR2, he has roughly around 19-20. Literally one texture set per object/accessory/item of clothing. My current character I'm working…
Raising this from the dead, So I basically stopped trying to do a likeness and just went for a face, that is believable. Right now he is a mixture of a bunch of pictures and sculpts. Well, I just picked up my second 24" Dell widescreen and I love it. Previously I had a ViewSonic 19" widescreen as my second monitor (which I thought was rad at the time of purchase) and it was the biggest piece of shit in comparison to the Dell. http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products...;l=en&s=dhs Check the tech specs…
Been doing the stock market for a long time now. Yes you do need to invest a good chunk of change to see a really good return. I bought some Baidu stock last yr which is the Google of search engines in China. The stock split and picked it up at a good price. LinkedIn is set to go public May 19.…
hehe... well right now my secondary clone monitor is my 32" aquos, but it's only 720p. I can make it do 1080i but the refresh goes all crosseyed and it doesn't agree with my 4:3 19" lcd monitor... I can either spend 300 for a new 22" samsung widescreen... or I can pay 50 bucks a month for 3 years and get a 42" tv
