I watched his latest episode on GameTrailers just a couple days ago where he talks about this. No comments, seriously. For those of you who hasn't seen it yet, here you go: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIjz25WkXQA[/ame]
[ QUOTE ] Played the PC demo last night in widescreen. Visual glitches in the UI galore. The in-game menu was broken like you wouldn't believe. [/ QUOTE ] wow i had no issues at all. Do you have the latest drivers for your video card?
That's a strange one. Aside from the random scaling issue which I've now got sorted, I've never had any issues importing or exporting with the latest version of Z. Used to get random crashes if I was trying to import something with dubious geometry.
I actually asked this a couple of months ago already, but no one has answered yet. :( http://polycount.com/discussion/180352/one-more-bakeable-map-type-thickness-map#latest So yeah, I would like to have this feature on MT3 as well.
This is SO badass, on so many different levels, to see one of Tactic's insanely unique drawings come to life! And you definitely have more than given it justice. The latest render is so sick by itself. Great work from both of you :D
It may be for some reason but i make sure to have the latest videocard drivers installed on my videocard because Maya can be bitchy with all the new realtime viewport plugins. The problem went away with a fresh new upgrade from Nvidia (my case)
A quick update before bed. I spent a bit of time trying out NDO2 (which is awesome) and trying Maya's latest Viewport 2.0 renderer. Still need to work on the textures and figure out how to do an AO bake again. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
my issue with 3dcoat projection painting is the errors it produces - I've spent time painting a face, apply it to the model, rotate the model around and projection paint the back when I get back the face is covered in errors or partially deleted. I'm not on the latest version
Give NEX a try, great toolset for maya that made my transition to maya a whole lot smoother: http://draster.com/nex-1.5/ Someone told me that most of these tools are in the latest version of maya(2011), but I've only worked with maya 7 and 2009.
To be fair, CSP and the others are gonna have the same weakness. Krita's latest release, 4.0.1, is the one going in the scripting direction. It let's you use PyQT to do a lot of things like custom dockers, colour pickers, a comic book project manager etc.
