150-250 per weapon simple diffuse map material any ogre exporter will work for static objects and weapons. I have used the Max Runic exporter and the Ofusion community edition Max7,8,9 exporter.
Well that's because first time that gold looked like plastic to me :D So I decided to desaturate it and add the silver scratches. Didn't realized that will be eye-bothering. Maybe I will review the diffuse map. :)
266 Faces, 528 Triangles, 256 x 256 diffuse map, 12 kb in size. Going for old school style with severely limited palette. That guy is brilliant LaPeren, really liking the monochrome feel.
Work in progress of a 998 triangle man with a 512 diffuse. The UV's are temporary while I block in the colors. I'll bake the paint down to a more workable UV layout on the next pass. [SKETCHFAB]6f599f9ae1414d66b9c547f456e4c8e1[/SKETCHFAB]
@9Skulls Afraid not...It´s generic spacebabe´s hot ass. :poly142: @Hawken I´ll try to paint it into the diffuse. If that doesn´t work I´ll make some planes like with the eyebrows. :) @HandSandwich Nice.
Here's something I did a while back with no particular goal in mind. Figured I'd post it here though, let me know what you think! And here's the Diffuse: update: removed attachments and fixed images
Some of my very first low-poly practice. I was watching Army of darkness when I started on it... does it show? :) 76Tris, and 1 diffuse map, at 512. I'll probably drop it down to 256 though.
I like that Bravefire, reminds me of Warcraft III which I've spent shitloads of time playing :) Textures look a bit dirty though. Maybe try showcasing without texture filtering on and flat diffuse lighting
Thanks TRAUMWELT75! No, it doesn't use any normal maps, it's just a diffuse texture applied to a simple low poly mesh. I just started with a sketch that I did, then expanded upon it :) I'm glad you like it!
I would say for something like this (especially for a small prop) you could just omit having the normal and use the ao/cavity baked into the diffuse. You really wouldn't miss the detail. - Assuming it'd be for mobile, that is.
