Damn that's great. The material definition on the cloth and leather pieces is awesome. And the chainmail... I'm not sure how that was done. It seems to flow with the underlying cloth.
slowly getting there, i remade all of the textures and started working on the clothes, the character is already rigged and skinned and will be ready to be posed with clothes soon
you need to warp the lines in the clothing(jacket) at the mo it looks like it doesnt fit the deformation of the cloth breaking the illusion of the painted in lighting
You've done a lot of shading on the body but the clothing is under rendered. Needs more influence from the environment perhaps? The clothing seems very separate from everything else.
Did a cloth study from a basemesh. Changed up the proportions, did a face sketch. The idea was tight, thin cloth, and it was fun. I might turn this into something, not sure.

Doesn't Marvelous need a support mesh to add structure for the cloth? Maybe the idea is creating the main shape, importing it into Marvelous and then doing the cloth simulation...
