Hey, I'm trying to improve my anatomy skills. I work as prop/environment artist, but I like to work on creature/character busts on my freetime. This is my first real try on female head. What do you think? Any major changes I should do?
I'd still call myself a beginner with Zbrush and characters in general. After an 8 month hiatus I started back up with sculpting and this ended up turning out better than I could have hoped. All c&c welcome. Decimated and rendered in toolbag 3
Hey folks, I'm working on a new bust, the idea is simple she is some kind of african princess with aztec influences. My goal is a realtime version. I'm quite happy with the proportions and the style of her jewellery, but her hair is still work in progress. Comments and critiques are allways welcome 8)
Hello all, I'm wanting to get more active on sites such as this one, so I thought I would post what I am working on at the moment for some critiques. The character is from a series of comics called Runaways, as seen below. This is what I have so far.
Hey all! Just a quick update before I go off on holiday for the week. I wanted to get these changes done before i shoot off. Thanks Firith for the awesome paintover of the bust! Tried to get all the changes you suggested in - i'll continue to polish this piece - maybe even practice my skin painting and facial topology…
Hi guys! I'm working on a Brand Lee (The Crow) model. While this started as a bust idea, it turned out into a full character. I was wondering, since I've already retopoligezed the face, how could I merge It with the body that I'm going to sculpt? Thank you :)
Hi everyone! I've come to a point where it gets really hard for me to make any progress. So i would really appreciate any critique/advice you could give me guys, thanks. Probably there's not need to, but these are some of the references that i have been using
schools are for chumps, grab some tutorials and bust ass for a year or two and you'll be far better than what comes out of those schools! Also this is the most important part make sure to post on polycount and get your work critiqued!
Thanks for kind words, Kevin ! We busted our asses off trying to try and crank up the quality of the work as best we can. We still have a ways to go and areas to improve in, obviously, but I think we are getting there.
World of Warcraft old vanilla races busts. In these works, I don't limit myself to the number of polygons and texture size. I try to study wow style and have more practice with faces painting. All armor designs from game.
