@JKNori Hi thanks for the feedback, interesting that you mentioned modularity, I actually hadnt considered it for this scene as its a smaller scene but it might be worth experimenting with that. The moodboard is a good call its something I dont do enough of, currenly doing the blockout in ue4, more screenshots to come -

The Ghomanghast Trilogy. Amazingly descriptive writing. Very appropriate for aspiring environment artists. If you read the first 10 pages, or less, the entire 3 books are hard to let sit on the shelf. Taunting you, laughing at you and your daily toils. laughing I say, mocking even! -

Using characters from popular culture in a portfolio
So recently i have noticed tat some people have models of popular characters, in their portfolio for example, Sith lords, The main guy from game of thrones (sorry i havnt watched much yet). My main question is, is this an ok thing to do for an employer, as long as you very sucessful, with the model? -

Temporary invisibilization
I want to hide my model's weapon during one of the taunt animations in order to make the weapon hand available for something else. I tried "MyPawn.Weapon.ClientState = WS_Hidden;" when my animation started, but that doesn't work. UT immediately complains as follows: Log: AssaultRifle ClientState was WRONG! (1) Does anyone… -

Traditionally Maya is the to go app for rigging and animation. There is a lot development goin on in that area for Maya. Max havnt got rigging updates in ages. Its hasnt been further developed for probably 7 years or so, they either remake it or leave it in the dust, but its more of an extra addition than a feature you rely on. Its stable at least, but slow and confusing, but sometimes its nice to have to paint away seams or do some projections.
