Thanks, everyone! :) I saved out some flat textures. I blew them up to 300% for viewing purposes, but the actual size is 16x16 pixels for a tile. As for giant structures, I haven't really done those. ah yeah, FMX... every year a blip on the radar that turns out pretty difficult to fit in with E3 production, scheduling-wise. two hour drive from here - but do they not have a single day ticket of some sort at all? all i see is 300+ euros conference passes. i could not see myself setting aside more than a day for a visit. -
Re: Emissive lighting for Lightmass is REAAAALLY slow...?
Most of them are under 300 polys, some of them (double checked, ONE) are a few thousand though. None of them have triggered those warnings. The art design for these structures and environments has lights built into a lot of elements as task and diegetic lighting. I'll look into breaking off just the emissive parts to see… -

LOL your the best earthquake I def have a lot of folders on my desktop (temporarily) and toolbag names them turntable000, 001 etc for some reason 000 was something else and the 3 renders I needed where 001 002 and 003 oops. I found them now. Sorry about that thanks for convincing me I still was doing something wrong. -

This a colour test - I need to fix allot of stuff on the diffuse and I've started to experiment with a spec map... which is fun and will be getting allot more work done on it! The robotic arms are also missing from the render, I havent got round to getting a decent normal map of them-yet the polycount is at 3092 although… -

Yeah I tried to change the thread title to "Zbrush 3.5 Announced" so that people would realize it is news. Well, having some new stuff is better than having to wait a long time for a release. I prefer shorter incremental releases. Though, if all of the new stuff is what was going to be in 4, I wonder how much different 4… -
